We wrote this policy to be read, not to be survived. Here is everything we collect and everything we do with it.
What we collect
- Account data — your mailbox name, password (stored only as a salted hash) and recovery address, if you provide one.
- Operational metadata — message size, timestamps, sender and recipient domains, and delivery status. This is how mail systems work; it is not the content of your mail.
- Service diagnostics — aggregate, anonymized performance metrics used to keep the platform healthy.
What we don't do
- We do not read your mail, scan it for advertising, or build profiles of you.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, data brokers or anyone else.
- We do not rewrite tracking pixels or add anything to your messages.
Content processing
Your mail is processed only to deliver it to you and to filter spam and viruses. Filtering is performed on our own infrastructure. Message content is never used for advertising or analytics, and backups are encrypted at rest.
Retention
Deleted messages rest in Trash for 30 days, then are permanently purged from primary storage. Backups rotate on a 30-day cycle. Account metadata is kept for the life of the account and 90 days after deletion.
Your rights
You can export your mail at any time in standard formats, and delete your account from the account panel, which triggers full data purging at the end of the retention window. Questions? Write to privacy@jywlfz.com — a human answers.
